PERSONALITY. Valerian is quiet and short tempered. He likes to push buttons and get people riled up. He enjoys high-energy people and people who can put up a fight with him. He flirts with anything walking and tends to get himself in trouble most of the time. Despite his need to solve things with a blade, he is actually very intelligent, a product from growing up in Old Sharlayan. BACKGROUND.
Val was five when his parents died on a mission. He was shipped to the shores of Old Sharlayan to live with his aunt and uncle. He grew up with his cousin, trying to live in her shadow of natural intelligence and grace. He resolved to be different, and started to pick fights instead. He got kicked out of the Studium early on and in stead learned at home from his aunt.
As soon as he was old enough to get out from their roof he left.
He moved to Kugane and joined the alliance, fighting against the empire and trying to earn the countries freedom. As the warrior of light came through and effectively made him unemployed he has been offering his arms for hire to anyone in need of them. His cousin appears from time to time to try to see if he has ever grown out of his ways and usually meets the other side of the door.
In his free time you can find him at various bars, seeing who has the best tasting whiskey or sporting a bruise as he goes about his daily rigorous work out routine. FUNFACTS.
Valerian loves pigeons. He loves that they do not care about how close people get to them, they just get about their business.
Valerian has an impressive ability to be good with kids. Even with his personality he tends to be soft towards kids and they seem to like how rough he is. He says its from dating mothers.
Valerian braids his own hair and can do some intricate designs if given the time.
PLOT HOOKS.
Valerian is looking to train in the crafting arts, his silent wish is to learn more about armorcraft and blacksmithing. Are you a master of your trade and looking for a stubborn student?
Sharlayan is a place he has not returned to, but he has had his share of people hailing from the land coming to him. Are you a ghost from the past, a person he once beat up over a tea or someone who beat him up for being an asshole?
Valerian works out a lot, and is usually running on the beaches in Shirogane or down in Costa del Sol if his work bring him there. He would never admit it, but a work out buddy would be something new and interesting for him.
He enjoys a drink and can easily be found at a tavern, just about anywhere.
